Carolin Wenzel

Founding Director
Carolin’s 30+ year career in communication has always been driven by her motivation to help make the world kinder, fairer and create less harm for people and the planet. Carolin has more than ten years of experience as a senior Communications, Media and Campaign Manager with social welfare, environment and advocacy organisations. Most recently she was the campaigns and Media Manager for Early Childhood Australia, managing the organisations media profile and running the Early Learning Everyone Benefits Campaign. From 2010-2015 Carolin was the Public Affairs Manager for The Benevolent Society, Australia’s longest running charity which celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 2013. Carolin began her career as a broadcaster with ABC Radio in 1987 where she worked as a producer in the NSW Central West, on the fore-runner to Life Matters and on women’s and environment programs. Her ten years with Greenpeace Australia Pacific from 1999-2010 developed her knowledge of strategic campaigning to achieve real change. Carolin led and implemented communication strategies for the Oceans, Forests, Whales, Toxic, Nuclear and Genetic Engineering campaigns. From 2008-2010 she was the Communications Manager overseeing seven comms officers and communications strategy for all Greenpeace campaigns including Climate Change. Recently Carolin worked with Social Ventures Australia in Rebranding The Connection, a School Leadership program.

Linda Apps

Co-Founder / Strategic Communications

Linda is a highly experienced strategic communicator with a background as a Marketing Manager in the music industry and communication advisor for national not-for-profit organisations. Linda has worked for: Greenpeace Australia Pacific, Greenpeace International and Iyengar Yoga Australia. Linda attended International Whaling Commission meetings in Japan and Berlin and wrote media releases on a wide variety of subjects from Climate Change to whaling. Most recently Linda gained coverage for Federation Uni on ABC Radio National’s The Science Show and in The Sydney Morning Herald. Linda has written effective communication campaigns for national and international environment and health issues. Linda is a successful writer with articles published in magazines and blogs, and is experienced at writing for websites and social media.  She was a journalist with Fairfax and a media advisor and writer for the NRMA and St George Bank. Linda is the Founding Director of The Yoga Nook, a centre for Iyengar Yoga in Dulwich Hill, Sydney, NSW.

Jenny Tanner

Photographer / Media Designer

Jenny is a freelance graphic designer, based in Sydney Australia. After completing a Diploma in Graphic Design at Swinburne University, Melbourne, in 2014 she went on to work with local and overseas clients. Between 2016 and 2018 Jenny worked as an in-house graphic designer for a not-for-profit organization, the SYDA Foundation, in upstate New York. Jenny has worked with clients from a variety of industries, including hospitality, small business owners, artists and not-for-profit organisations. She loves working with start-up and local businesses, and enjoys working with individuals and teams to get to the essence of what they’re passionate about, and representing that visually. Jenny creates a variety of elements for her clients, including digital content for social media, website elements, EDMs, presentations, GIFs and more. She also works in print media such as signage and wayfinding, packaging, brochures, posters, and fabric printing. Jenny is proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, and enjoy hands on work, including illustration and paper-craft. As well as graphic design, she has an Advanced Diploma in Photography, from Photography Studies College in Melbourne, where she majored in art photography and won the graduation award in that area. Jenny recently designed the new logo and style guide for SVA’s The Connection – collaborating for education excellence and equity, the design templates for their new online collaboration platform, and their brand value icons.
