In the final week of 2020 ACOSS drew national attention to the Government’s decision to cut the Coronavirus Supplement by another $100 to just $150 a fortnight, effectively slashing the JobSeeker payment to $50/day.

Early Learning Everyone Benefits Campaign
From 2015-2019 Carolin managed a national collaborative campaign with 27 member organisations to increase access to quality early learning for all Australian children before they start school.
Early Action Report
Carolin developed the advocacy strategy for The Benevolent Society in their 200th anniversary year, which focused on the need to increase early intervention strategies for families with children under five.
Children’s Safety in Family Law Campaign
In 2011 Carolin led the strategic development of a collaborative campaign to make children’s safety the highest priority in family law cases.

Tropical Bloom Festival
Linda organised media for the Tropical Bloom lifestyle and music festival near Rockhampton, Central Queensland in July 2019.
Health Access Through Yoga
Linda is helping to establish Iyengar Yoga Australia (IYA) as a thought leader in the Australian yoga community.
Sydney City Farm
Carolin was the Communications Director for the Sydney City Farm community group that resulted in the establishment of City Farm in Sydney Park by City of Sydney Council.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Good Wood
Carolin developed and implemented the communications strategy for the Greenpeace Good Wood campaign in 2005.
Saving Tuna Fisheries
Carolin and Linda developed the original Communication Strategy for the Greenpeace Pacific Tuna campaign (2003-2004). The campaign empowered Pacific Island communities to ban commercial fishing in high seas areas and eventually resulted in canned tuna producers committing to avoid buying tuna from suppliers using harmful fishing practices like fads and purse-seiners.
Whale Protection
Linda developed and implemented the communication strategies for Greenpeace International at International Whaling Commission meetings in Shimonoseki and Berlin (in 2002 and 2003). Carolin covered media for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Antarctic Anti-Whaling expeditions – which saw the release of dramatic footage by Greenpeace of attempts to foil Japanese whalers.
